Do I want to have a baby?

  • Can you take care of a child?
  • Can you put your child's needs first?

A baby brings lots of joy and lots of work. It is a big responsibility. Parents need help to raise a baby. Do you have enough energy and enough money? Do you have the right help?

Do I want to learn about birth control?

Birth control is a way to prevent making a baby when a man and woman have sex. 

Birth control comes in pills, patches, shots, implants, and intrauterine devices or IUDs. Learn about the different types. Ask people you trust and your doctor what is right for you.

What happens as a woman gets older?

Menopause is when a woman's body stops making eggs and having periods.

Early in menopause you can still get pregnant. Later in menopause you can no longer get pregnant.

Your doctor can help with signs and treatment for menopause.
