During the Visit

Welcome to our healthcare visit videos. Here you will see brief videos that were made to help you know "What to Expect".

There are two groups of videos that talk about:

  • During your doctor visit and
  • Other tests and exams

For each topic, here are two videos and a social story that you can print out.

  • One video "What to Expect" has info for patients, families and caregivers.
  • The other video "Accommodating Care" is for healthcare team members.
  • Other exams or tests.

You can also find the videos on our YouTube Channel with playlists for each user.

Thanks to the Center for Autism Services and Transition (CAST) at Ohio State who offers specialized primary care services for adults on the autism spectrum. They created this idea for paired videos and shared it with us at IU.
